Info
On 20 November 2026, Robert Glasper brings his boundary-blurring take on modern jazz to Blue Note London. Raised between church music, Houston’s scene and later New York’s New School, Glasper has built a language where post-bop chops meet hip-hop swing, R&B warmth and soul instincts, with improvisation always tied to groove and song-like form.
Whether he leans into the acoustic finesse of his early trio years or the more electric, vocal-forward spirit of the Robert Glasper Experiment, his sets are known for moving fast between tight composition and open-ended detours. Expect a pianist-composer who thinks like a producer: sharp rhythmic turns, elastic harmony, and a feel that nods as much to the jazz club as to the beat-driven world he’s long collaborated with.
