Info
Arkells bring their Between Us Tour to Ottawa on November 26, 2026, for a night built around the band’s straight-to-the-point, crowd-led rock. Formed in Hamilton in the mid-2000s and shaped by that campus-scene energy, they’ve always worked in a sweet spot where alt rock grit meets pop clarity, with a few soul and R&B touches when the songs call for it.
From the early punch of Jackson Square to the more melodic, keyboard-forward turn of Michigan Left and High Noon, Arkells have kept the focus on tight songwriting and choruses made to be shouted back. Over the years they’ve opened the sound up with brass and warmer grooves on records like Morning Report and Rally Cry, without losing the band-at-full-speed feel that made them a live staple. At The 27 Club, expect a set that moves between big sing-alongs and more intimate, song-first moments, driven by Max Kerman’s voice and the group’s collective momentum.
