Info
On December 3, 2026, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa, The Trews bring back their stage-ready Canadian rock: tight riffs, choruses meant to be sung along, and that blend of melodic hard rock, classic rock and post-grunge accents that has shaped their identity since the late 1990s. From their first breakthrough around House of Ill Fame to more nuanced records such as Hope & Ruin or Civilianaires, the band plays with contrasts, between raw energy and more composed moments, without losing their taste for direct songs.
Opening the show, Wide Mouth Mason injects its nerve blues-rock, nourished by funk and soul. Led by Shaun Verreault, the project grooves along, between rootsy guitar, full-sounding bass and no-frills drums. From Wide Mouth Mason's early days to the leaner atmospheres of I Wanna Go with You, the duo preserves that live tension, leaving room for controlled detours and well-judged improvisations.
