Info
On January 23, 2027, The Milk Carton Kids set down their guitars at La Maroquinerie for a concert that puts the duo back at the center of the action. Kenneth Pattengale and Joey Ryan, partners since 2011, have built their signature on tight vocal harmonies and two acoustic guitars that respond to each other with millimeter precision: delicate picking on one side, impeccable rhythm on the other, with a writing rooted in Americana and indie folk.
On stage, the set alternates between narrative songs, melodic nuances, and intimate, often sharp exchanges that are part of the experience as much as the music. After a more expansive detour around All the Things That I Did and All the Things That I Didn’t Do, the band returned to a pared-down format, notably on I Only See the Moon (2023). This Paris date is also an opportunity to enter the world of their new album Lost Cause Lover Fool, nine tracks conceived to draw listeners in, to notice the details, and to let the small moments take their place.
