On March 5, 2027, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats set up their amps at La Machine du Moulin Rouge in Paris to unleash their old-school heavy rock, somewhere between doom, psychedelia and 60s garage. Led by Kevin Starrs, the British band loves slow, saturated riffs, catchy vocal harmonies, and that little hint of a B-movie that lingers in the melodies as in the silences.
From Blood Lust to Mind Control, via The Night Creeper and Wasteland, their repertoire plays with the formats of heavy rock while telling dark and highly visual stories. The tracks unfold like film scenes: rising tension, thick groove, choruses that linger. An ideal date to let yourself be swept up by this retro, cinematic aesthetic, powered by raw, no-frills energy, and to hear how their universe has densified even further up to Nell’ Ora Blu.
