Born in Vendée and averaging 23 years of age, the Dynamite Shakers have chosen rock, guitar and adventure. Élouan on vocals and guitar, Lila-Rose on vocals and bass, François on drums and Calvin on guitar have known each other since childhood and made a pact, in the schoolyard, to form a band and to design their future together.
Since then, they have crisscrossed bars, clubs, campsites and concert venues in DIY fashion, until reaching the milestone of 400 concerts.
After being invited to open for The Offspring, Sum 41, the Pixies or Nick Cave, the four Vendéens continue their journey with Marilyn, their second album. Produced by Lionel des Limiñanas and recorded at ICP in Brussels, the record unfolds over 14 tracks split into A and B sides, as a nod to vinyl culture and to a history of rock whose heritage they claim.
Musically, Marilyn is an album that navigates between rock, punk, tense pop, psychedelia and blues. From De Scellé au sol, a wild rock‑punk cavalcade, to Night Club, a Stooge‑like hit already known to their fans, through 6h10, Spleen de toi or Cinema, the Dynamite Shakers deliver a feverish and upfront collection of songs.
After a performance at Rock en Seine on August 29 and a tour across the country, the Dynamite Shakers will continue to promote Marilyn on the stage of the Trianon in Paris on February 27, 2027, for a new chapter in their band's history.
