DJ Pone — 30 years behind the turntables, with guests Tidoberman, Cuizinier (TTC), Dabaaz and Greg Frite (Triptik), will perform live at Makeda in Marseille on Friday, September 25, 2026 at 8:30 PM.
2026 marks DJ Pone's 30-year career. The idea for this tour was born after a packed La Maroquinerie, where he had gathered several companions on the road for a unique evening. The desire to extend that moment became evident.
He could have built a best-of show, a nostalgic retrospective, a look back. DJ Pone preferred to build a live show, a real one, in which tracks from his latest opus Bass Culture cross with other chapters of his story, transformed and performed live, bridging hip-hop and electronic. At his side: Tidoberman, Cuizinier (TTC), Greg Frite, Dabaaz. A lineup that tells part of Pone's journey.
A journey that began within the Double H DJ Crew before making a name for himself in the DMC championships. Founder of Birdy Nam Nam, and a Victoires de la Musique winner, he then held the turntables on the NTM and Les Casseurs Flowters tours. In parallel, he develops a personal discography marked by the albums Radiant, 1978 and Sarh, the EP Erratic Impulses on Ed Banger, and collaborations with Oxmo Puccino, Jeanne Added or Georgio.
