Thylacine

On March 4, 2027 at Le Silo in Marseille, Thylacine presents a live performance shaped by the road and creative wandering. Behind this name stands William Rezé, a musician trained on the saxophone who for a decade has been crafting melodic electronic music that blends techno, ambient and downtempo pulses. True to his nomadic method, he composes far from the studio, on the move, with a converted 1970s Airstream serving as a mobile workshop. For Roads vol. 3, he crossed a new continent, gathering sounds, images and motifs that feed tracks built on slow loops, pared-down harmonies and atmospheric textures.

On stage, his travels become an immersive set: the beats build gradually, the saxophone surfaces in brief touches, and videos shot on the road extend the music into visual landscapes. The performance evokes the spirit of his earlier travel notebooks—from Transsiberian to Roads vol. 1 and vol. 2—not to mention the minimalist reinterpretations of classical pieces unveiled on Timeless. A concert conceived as a story in motion, between electronic material and memories captured along the miles.
