Les Wriggles sing humor, absurdity, and those little truths that hit the mark. Through their songs, they tell the world as they see it: it makes you laugh, cringe, and sometimes move you or even cry. For this new tour, the band celebrates 30 years on stage with a show that reflects them at the Centre Gérard Philipe in Calais: free, offbeat, and as jubilant as ever.
On the programme are recent titles such as Aimé, poetically absurd; Sboudibou, surprisingly electric; and Barbeuc Party, decidedly festive, but also staples such as Poupine et Thierry or La petite Olive. A singular universe, a poetically absurd transmission between humor and poetry, which crosses generations with undiminished energy.
