Cardinals arrive at the Electric Ballroom in London on 12 November 2026 for a live show that spotlights one of the new faces of the Irish indie scene. Born near Cork, around brothers Euan and Finn Mannings, joined by their cousin Dara and then their friends Aaron and Oskar, the quintet initially built their sound on a stark post-punk edge before widening their frame.
Today, Cardinals traverses melancholic indie rock and shoegaze textures, with detours into Irish folk, Gothic undertones, a gritty Britpop, and a few hip-hop influences. Their signature is the accordion, which sits at the heart of the guitars and gives the band an instantly recognizable color. On stage, the energy remains direct, but the writing has broadened: more nuance, more tensions that ease off, more melodies that stick. Special guests are also announced.
