Jeanne Cherhal returns to the stage on October 2, 2026, at the Théâtre André Malraux in Rueil-Malmaison, with her characteristic blend of tightly crafted songs and pop freedom. A songwriter, composer, singer, pianist and bassist, she has progressed since her Nantes beginnings with direct writing, often humorous, sometimes sharper, always attentive to the details of daily life.
Driven by a piano that remains her anchor, Cherhal moves between intimate formats and more electric surges, depending on the mood of the pieces. Her work carries that fondness for precise words and careful arrangements that runs through her albums, from Douze fois par an to L’Eau, Histoire de J, L’an 40, and up to Jeanne, produced with Benjamin Biolay. On stage, her songs take on a different density: they speak, they tell, they hook, without striving for effect.
