With Spirales, his fifteenth studio album, Dominique A marks a return to a more intimate, autobiographical style of songwriting. Inspired by the places of his childhood and adolescence, between Provins and Nantes, the artist explores the memories, encounters, and moments of revelation that punctuate a life. While retaining his perspective on the contemporary world, he here blends the personal with the universal in his songs.
Musically, Spirales recaptures a rawer, more organic energy, carried by electric guitars and the ensemble’s interplay.
Active for more than thirty years, Dominique A continues his artistic journey with this new album.
