Wage War

On 24 January 2027 Wage War will play at Melkweg in Amsterdam. The band from Ocala, Florida, has been working a solid formula since 2010: brutal riffs, tight breakdowns and the interplay between raw screams and clean vocals. From Blueprints (2015) through Stigma (2024) Wage War has gradually broadened its sound without losing its heft: Deadweight and Pressure set the tone with compact, hard‑hitting tracks, while Manic and Stigma introduce more space, hooks and dynamics.

Live, that mix falls perfectly into place. The five‑piece pushes songs forward with tempo changes that heighten the tension between heaviness and melody: verses that drive, choruses that open up, and rhythms that get the crowd moving. Expect a set that cuts across their catalogue, with new material alongside fan favourites, tightly delivered by vocal duo Briton Bond and Cody Quistad, driven by massive guitars and a rhythm section that leaves nothing loose.
