Jimmy Sax

Jimmy Sax, a French saxophonist and composer, continues his Toi & Moi project in 2027 and will stop at Espace Malraux in Joué-lès-Tours on 21 October 2027. Conceived as an intimate encounter with the audience, this format refocuses the music on the present moment: closeness, attentive listening and a stage energy nourished by the public.

At the heart of the set, the saxophone leads the way, supported by a blend of electronic textures and pop, funk and soul hues. Accustomed to performing live alongside DJs and a devotee of extended improvisation, Jimmy Sax develops clear themes that he stretches and reshapes, alternating between danceable pulses and more stripped-back passages. The idea: a more organic sound, variations in intensity and the freedom to veer off according to the mood of the moment.

Toi & Moi extends the momentum begun in 2026 by placing encounter at its centre. Without artifice, the concert relies on interaction, live energy and those suspended moments that give each date its own colour. Here, the connection is improvised in real time, to the rhythm of a saxophone in the foreground and electronics crafted for the live set.
