Sprints after party (dj set)

SPRINTS land in London for an after party DJ set at The Shacklewell Arms on 5 June 2026. The Dublin quartet, led by vocalist and guitarist Karla Chubb, has shaped a rugged post-punk sound fed by garage rock and indie urgency. From early singles and the EPs Manifesto and A Modern Job to the 2024 album Letter to Self on City Slang, the band keeps things lean and close to the bone: taut rhythms, serrated guitars and lyrics grounded in everyday life, politics and personal identity.

Behind the decks, they flip that same spirit into selections built for the floor. Expect post-punk linchpins, garage scorchers, noise-brushed indie and a few left turns that map the group’s influences from Dublin basements to UK DIY circuits. Hooks, motorik pulses and gritty textures stitched into a steady, unfussy flow, more momentum than spectacle. This is a DJ set, not a live performance, but the charge stays near their stage DNA, channelled through records and cuts that speak to their world. An after hours extension of SPRINTS’ aesthetic, direct and close-up, in a venue that fits their taste for proximity.
