Artemas

On December 7, 2026, Artemas will be at Melkweg in Amsterdam. The British songwriter and producer builds his tracks around the voice: melodies up front, sparse beats behind. He moves between alternative pop, subtle electronica and bedroom pop, with midtempo grooves, minimal arrangements and choruses that slowly settle in. His lyrics deal with relationships, interpersonal dynamics and self-image, direct and melodic.

What began with independently released songs in the early 2020s found its way through streaming and social platforms. Live, Artemas translates that studio craftsmanship into an intimate setup: solo, with digital accompaniment, samples and synths that leave room for phrasing and timing. Not a wall of sound, but shifting details, layered sung parts and production choices that carry the vocals.

This show in Amsterdam feels like a close-up on songwriting: rhythms that breathe, small changes in texture, pop frameworks with occasional R&B and melodic trap influences. A set that places the focus on voice and songwriting, exactly as he constructs them in the studio, but up close.
