SOMBR comes to Amsterdam with his YOU ARE THE REASON TOUR and settles in at the Ziggo Dome on June 1, 2027. The 21-year-old New Yorker Shane Boose writes and co-produces everything himself, and you can hear it: alternative pop with indie-rock edges, big enough for an arena yet always intimate. In songs like Back to Friends, Undressed and 12 to 12, he places young love, doubt and self-worth in sharp relief, with melodies that linger and lyrics that don’t beat around the bush. Live, that translates into a set that alternates between fragility and full-band power, exactly what his songs demand.
Ravyn Lenae rounds out the evening with her breezy, idiosyncratic blend of alternative R&B, neo-soul and atmospheric pop. The Chicago-based singer builds her tracks around a precise, melancholic voice and flowing grooves, known from work with the Zero Fatigue scene and albums like Hypnos and Bird’s Eye. An opener that already puts the room on edge, without losing its subtlety.
