Iotunn + In Vain + Nephylim

On 13 April 2026 at Backstage & O'Sullivans By The Mill in Paris, Iotunn headlines its Kinship European Tour for the first time in Europe. Having shifted from progressive power metal to progressive, melodic death metal infused with atmospheric elements, the band combines technical mastery with expansive storytelling, spanning mythology, existential questions and cosmic vertigo. Signed to Metal Blade Records since 2020, Iotunn has honed its craft at festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Summer Breeze, 70,000 Tons of Metal and Rockwave, and toured in 2025 alongside Dark Tranquillity, Soen and Equilibrium. In Paris, the set will spotlight the album Kinship, striking a balance between density, melody and sweep.

Special guests In Vain (Norway) continue the progressive thread with a death sound edged by black influences, meticulous arrangements and refined vocal harmonies. Bolstered by Solemn, their recent record, the band delivers on stage compositions that are both intense and fluid.

Opening the night, Nephylim (Netherlands) gets the evening underway and lays the groundwork before the build-up. Together, the three acts present a bill focused on ambitious songwriting and immersive atmospheres, tailor-made for the stage.
