Wishbone Ash : Time Was Tour 2026 - Live at Crossroad

On April 22, 2026 at Le Trabendo, Wishbone Ash returns with the Time Was Tour 2026, a nod to one of their tracks. Formed in Torquay in the late 1960s, the British band forged an identity where blues, hard rock and early progressive impulses intersect, driven by their signature twin-guitar sound. From the early albums Wishbone Ash and Pilgrimage to Argus, which introduces folk touches and a more narrative songwriting style, and on through subsequent records, the quartet deepened this six-string dialogue with harmonized lines and extended instrumental passages.

Under the impetus of Andy Powell, the current lineup continues along this course, alternating electric tension with pared-down melodies. On stage, the set highlights the two-guitar sound, vocal counterpoint and a rhythm section that leaves room for development. Between foundational 1970s pieces, more direct numbers and recent songs like “Bona Fide” or “Blue Horizon,” the concert presents a panorama faithful to Wishbone Ash’s DNA, between rock density and instrumental excursions.
