Born in Osaka as George Kusunoki Miller, the Japanese-Australian artist has shaped an alternative R&B sound that leans into pop, lo-fi and hip-hop textures. After early notoriety on YouTube, he closed that chapter in 2017 to focus on songwriting and production with the 88rising collective. From the In Tongues EP to the albums Ballads 1, Nectar and Smithereens, his catalog favors slow tempos, pared-back electronics and close-miked vocals.
