Info
On March 3, 2027, Vacations bring their “Pursuit Of Anything Tour” to Danforth Music Hall in Toronto. Hailing from Newcastle, Australia, the band sits right where jangle pop, dream pop and melodic post-punk overlap, with clean guitars, elastic bass lines and that slightly detached vocal tone that makes their songs feel both intimate and distant. From the early buzz of Vibes to the more structured songwriting of Changes, Forever In Bloom and No Place Like Home, they’ve kept a knack for short, direct tracks, hazy atmospheres and a quiet tension that lands best live, when those restrained tempos can suddenly hit harder than expected.
Opening the night, Twen set the mood with their Boston-to-Nashville indie pop-rock built on sharp hooks and psychedelic-edged guitars. Led by Jane Fitzsimmons and Ian Jones, the duo moves between dreamier textures and electric snap, a balance they’ve pushed from Awestruck through One Stop Shop to Fate Euphoric, with more upfront choruses and a new wave tint—without losing their DIY core.
