On June 29, 2026, L’Olympia in Paris brings All Them Witches and SLIFT together on the same stage. Two visions of heavy psych intersect, spanning forthcoming releases and landmark tracks from their catalogues.
All Them Witches, formed in Nashville in 2012, move beyond labels by blending slow distortions, psychedelia, blues and hard rock. The quartet — Charles Michael Parks Jr., Ben McLeod, Allan Van Cleave and Christian Powers — plays on contrasts: weight and melodic weightlessness, shadow and light. From their beginnings with Our Mother Electricity to Nothing As The Ideal (2020), the band has honed a songwriting built on tension and release, designed for the stage. They return with House of Mirrors, their seventh album and first release on BMG, excerpts of which will likely feature in the set.
SLIFT, a trio from Toulouse formed in 2016 by brothers Jean and Rémi Fossat alongside Canek Flores, develops a dense, hybrid music where improvisation rubs shoulders with razor‑sharp riffs. From the EP Space Is the Key to La Planète Inexplorée and then UMMON, the band has crafted a space rock saturated with stoner, psychedelia and post‑rock surges. In 2024, ILION was released on Sub Pop, extending their penchant for elongated formats and a science‑fiction narrative thread. The group is currently working on its next album for Sub Pop, with recent tracks likely to be added to the set.
