Journey - Final Frontier Tour (An Evening With)

On March 8, 2026, at Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Journey brings the Final Frontier Tour for an Evening With set that retraces five decades of melodic rock. Formed in San Francisco in 1973 by alumni of Santana and Frumious Bandersnatch, the band shifted from jazz-fusion beginnings to a hook-driven sound at the end of the 70s. The AOR era shaped by Infinity, Escape and Frontiers still defines their approach, built around Neal Schon’s guitar lines and the keyboard layers carried by Jonathan Cain.

Today, Journey tours with vocalist Arnel Pineda, whose arrival in 2007 opened a new run of recordings and international shows, up through Freedom in 2022. The Evening With format puts the focus squarely on the band, leaving room for a longer, career-spanning set that connects early instrumental flair with their radio catalog. Don’t Stop Believin’, Separate Ways (Worlds Apart), Any Way You Want It, Open Arms or Faithfully map out the arc of a group that moves easily between driving rock and slow-burn ballads.
