Anna of the North - Europe Tour 2026

On 19 February 2026, Anna of the North will play at the Frannz Club in Berlin. Behind the name is the Norwegian Anna Lotterud, who since the mid-2010s has carved out her own intersection of electro-pop and indie-pop with a clear voice, soft synths and restrained beats. After the first songs centered on “Sway,” the albums Lovers and Dream Girl followed, marked by simple hooks and a calm, slightly melancholic mood. Crazy Life from 2022 broadens the palette with a light R&B touch and a bit more drive, without losing its introspective tone. Collaborations, among them with Tyler, the Creator, have further opened up her universe.

Live, melody is central to Anna of the North: pared-down programming, subtle dynamics, and lyrics that address the listener directly. The set swings between synthetic ballads and subtly grooving tracks that allow intimacy rather than overwhelming. Older pieces meet newer songs and trace a line from bedroom pop to minimalist electronics, with plenty of space for voice and atmosphere. A focused show that starts quietly, gently gathers momentum, and makes the core of her songwriting tangible.
