Andrea Berg brings her modern Schlager to Hamburg: on 13 November 2027 she will perform at the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg. Since the early 1990s the singer from Krefeld has been active in the genre — first in local bands while working as a nurse, then discovered by producer Eugen Römer and debuting in 1992 with Du bist frei. Her songs revolve around relationships, breakups and new beginnings, supported by catchy melodies, clear choruses and tempos that range from ballad to dancefloor. In the 2000s and 2010s she consolidated her course with albums such as Schwerelos (2010), Mosaik (2019) and Ich würd’s wieder tun (2022). Collaborations with producers like Dieter Bohlen have shaped a sound aimed at radio play and large arenas. Live, Andrea Berg relies on imagery that mixes romantic motifs with pop, with a production designed for big stages. In Hamburg she will present a cross-section spanning several decades — new songs alongside tracks the audience can sing along to, sometimes quiet, sometimes driving, focused on the heart of contemporary Schlager.
