For more than fifteen years, Béatrice Martin, known as Cœur de Pirate, has been carving out her path in francophone pop. A singer-songwriter, she writes for broken hearts with a clear, incisive voice and a lingering veil of mystery. At the piano she crafts delicate melodies, yet she does not hesitate to quicken the tempo when a song calls for a disco surge. Her discography—roughly half a dozen albums—has taken her from stages in Quebec to those in France and the United States. Since 2021 she has also served as president and artistic director of the record label Bravo Musique.
Cœur de Pirate will be at L'Autre Canal in Nancy on November 18, 2026. It will be an opportunity to plunge into direct, sensitive songwriting, between piano confidences and choruses with a pop edge, delivered by an artist who moves forward without repeating herself and who, album after album, sharpens her sonic territory.
