Julien Clerc

Julien Clerc is back on the road and will set down his piano on March 13, 2027 at the Chaudeau-Ludres in Ludres. A singer, pianist and composer who emerged at the end of the 1960s, he presents on stage a repertoire that has accompanied several generations, ranging from romanticism to French pop. Surrounded by close musical collaborators, he alternates carefully crafted orchestrations with more stripped-down moments, where voice and piano take center stage.

On the program are cornerstone songs that have marked his career, such as La Cavalerie, Ce n’est rien, Femmes, je vous aime, Ma préférence, Mélissa and Fais-moi une place, as well as songs written with his preferred authors—from Étienne Roda-Gil to Jean-Loup Dabadie, including Carla Bruni and Maxime Le Forestier. The concert emphasizes the clarity of the lyrics, the melody that establishes itself from the opening bars, and his way of making words resonate without artifice.
