Bérengère Krief returns with Sexe, a show in which she examines our relationship to desire and performance in an era often described as a “sex recession.” With her candid humor and precise pen, she probes the sex education we received—too often oriented toward prevention rather than pleasure. She addresses consent, social pressures, first times, fantasized expectations and real bodies, taking a stance against neatly scripted narratives. On stage she speaks directly to the audience, blending confidences, anecdotes and a strong sense of rhythm to dissolve awkwardness without moralizing. The staging is by Pamela Ravassard and the lighting design by Cyril Manetta, accompanying a highly embodied performance.
