Laurent Voulzy

Laurent Voulzy brings his songs to Bourges on 5 March 2026, at the Palais d’Auron. A songwriter, composer and performer, and longtime writing partner of Alain Souchon, he unfolds a French pop that is at once clear and sensitive, where guitars intertwine with keyboards and backing vocals. On stage he weaves a thread between memories and the present, with that singular way of letting melodies travel without raising his voice.

On the programme are songs that have accompanied countless journeys and seasons, from “Rockollection” to “Le soleil donne,” including “Belle-Île-en-Mer Marie-Galante,” “Le pouvoir des fleurs” and “Jeanne,” joined by more recent pieces. The arrangements give the refrains room to breathe, his voice keeps its limpid tone, and the images unfold like postcards: sea, towns, friendships, inner landscapes. A concert to rediscover a familiar repertoire and hear it anew, close to the songs and their discreet light, for one evening at the Palais d’Auron.
