Los Lonely Boys

In San Angelo, Texas, brothers Henry, Jojo and Ringo Garza developed a family stage repertoire in childhood before forming Los Lonely Boys in the late 1990s. The trio draws on a blend of rock, blues, soul, country and Tex‑Mex traditions that the band sums up as "Texican rock & roll." Driven by Henry Garza's electric guitar, three‑part vocal harmonies and frequent use of both English and Spanish, Los Lonely Boys gradually established themselves on regional Texas stages and then across the United States, playing clubs, mid‑sized venues and festivals. Their first major studio album, "Los Lonely Boys" (2003), gained attention with the single "Heaven," which placed the band in a melodic rock vein infused with gospel and rhythm and blues. The albums "Sacred" (2006), "Forgiven" (2008), "Rockpango" (2011) and "Revelation" (2014) continued this aesthetic, exploring at times more soul, more rock or more Latin colors, while retaining the power‑trio format characteristic of Los Lonely Boys. Occasional collaborations, notably with Carlos Santana, reinforced the band's place within a network of musicians navigating between American rock and Chicano heritage, while Los Lonely Boys maintained a regular live presence in which improvisation and extended instrumental passages play a central role.
