Info
On November 5, 2026, David Binney and Louis Cole reunite at La Petite Halle de la Villette in Paris for a duo in which everything unfolds in full view. Binney, the alto saxophonist with a sharp, engaging tone and music that is constantly in motion, loves angles, ruptures, and melodies that deviate at the last moment. His music opens an ideal playing space for improvisation, between taut lines and detours confidently embraced.
Facing him, Louis Cole brings his sense of groove and a razor‑sharp attack, capable of moving from dry funk to more twisted rhythms without losing the thread. A multi‑instrumentalist and producer, co‑founder of KNOWER and accustomed to the crossroads of jazz, pop and electronic music, he pushes energy to its furthest reaches. Together, they feed off one another, warm up, raise the tension and reveal what makes the essence of a duo: what is built between the notes, at the very moment it happens.
