Info
On September 25, 2027, at O2 Academy Birmingham, From the Jam brings back the nerve and snap of the late 70s/early 80s mod-punk wave that made The Jam a reference point. Expect tight, melodic songs built on sharp guitar lines, driving rhythms and that prominent bass punch, with the kind of direct, story-first writing that turned everyday British life into three-minute anthems. The set leans into the band’s classic blend of mod revival, punk rock, new wave and power pop, shaped by a love of 60s beat music, soul and R&B but delivered with a lean, urgent edge. From the early rush associated with the 1977 punk moment to the more narrative, arranged side of the later records, this show is about the songs: fast, focused, and made to be sung back in a room that doesn’t need anything fancy to feel alive.
