Info
Thomas Dutronc arrives on June 18, 2027 at the Lille Barrière Casino with a live project that puts his taste for swing and beautiful melodies at the service of the great jazz standards. After Frenchy, he focuses here on the art of the cover, without pastiche: the idea is to capture the spirit of the pieces and let them breathe on stage.
On the program, a journey between cool jazz in the style of Chet Baker, nods to gypsy jazz in the Django Reinhardt tradition, and revisited classics of the Great American Songbook, with that slightly nonchalant elegance that suits him. By his side, a top-notch team: Éric Legnini on piano, Stéphane Belmondo on trumpet, Rocky Gresset on guitar, Franck Agulhon on drums, and Thomas Bramerie on double bass. Plenty of room for groove, improvisation, and dialogue, in a concert conceived as a musical conversation.
