Info
On June 9, 2027, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard arrive at Radiant - Bellevue with their own distinctive way of twisting rock in every direction. Led by Stu Mackenzie, the Australian collective moves as a six-piece unit, with Ambrose Kenny-Smith, Cook Craig, Joey Walker, Lucas Harwood and Michael Cavanagh, and a simple rule: never repeat themselves. Lo-fi garage rock, surf, psychedelia, prog, folk, jazz-rock, heavy metal, and even more electronic twists—anything can turn up at the same show, without warning.
Their discography has become a playground where conceptual albums and experiments follow one another, from the obsessive loops of Nonagon Infinity to the microtonal explorations of Flying Microtonal Banana, up to the thrash assaults of Infest the Rats’ Nest. On stage, this translates into sets that are often long, highly varied, with improvised passages that raise the tension without losing the thread. And around them, a fanbase that fuels the famous Gizzverse: theories, cross-references, and the sense of entering a parallel universe with every title.
