Info
On March 24, 2027, The Jacksons bring their family groove to the Brighton Centre in Brighton. Born as The Jackson 5 in late-60s Gary, Indiana, the brothers built their name on Motown’s mix of Detroit soul, pop and R&B, with tight harmonies and bass lines that hit straight away. Over the years, the lineup evolved from Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael to include Randy in the mid-70s, and the songs followed that same momentum.
After leaving Motown for CBS/Epic, they stepped into a new chapter as The Jacksons, pushing further into disco and Philly soul on records like The Jacksons and Goin’ Places, then taking more control with Destiny and Triumph, where funk, urban pop and ballads sit side by side. This show is a chance to hear that full arc live: the classic early spark, then the sleeker, more self-directed pop-funk years that made their concerts a lesson in group vocals, rhythm, and choreography-driven energy.
