Info
On March 12, 2027, at Gleneagle Arena in Killarney, Imelda May brings her “Raised on Songs & Stories: The Lock In” show to the stage, drawing on a career that’s never stayed in one lane. First known for a sharp, 50s-leaning rock’n’roll and rockabilly attitude, she’s long since stretched her sound into swing, rhythm and blues, jazz, soul and folk, keeping the same love for strong melodies and direct storytelling.
Expect a set that can jump from the punchy, retro drive that powered her early records to the more stripped-back, song-first approach she explored later on, with room for the spoken-word edges she’s leaned into in recent years. It’s the kind of concert where voice, rhythm and narrative sit up front, and where different chapters of her catalogue can talk to each other in the same night.
