Info
On March 18, 2027, Wasia Project stops at Théâtre Fairmount in Montreal for a concert conceived as a nocturne: a soft, precise chamber-pop carried by the sibling duo Olivia Hardy (vocals, guitar) and William Gao (piano, vocals). Since 2019, the group has woven a sound where indie pop rubs shoulders with light jazz-pop and discreet electronic textures, with a genuine taste for arrangements. On stage, their songs take on a more organic scope: the duo often surrounds themselves with additional musicians (drums, bass, brass), giving depth to the songs unveiled by 'Why Don’t U Love Me', the EP How Can I Pretend?, followed by Isotope, and to tracks such as 'Petals on the Moon' or 'Remember When'. A date for those who love clear melodies, intimate vocals, and restrained emotion, without overacting.
