On May 15, 2027, Tagada Jones arrives at Le 106 in Rouen with their bold blend of French-language hardcore punk, metal riffs, and more industrial textures. Born in Rennes in the early 1990s around Niko, the quartet honed itself on the alternative scenes before taking on festivals and venues with a fast, sharp sound, built for shouted, sing-along choruses. Between the urgency of their early days and the crossover evolution of their albums, the group maintains the same line: tense tracks, no-nonsense live energy, and lyrics grounded in the real world, addressing social tensions and power dynamics.
Opposite them, Les Tambours du Bronx bring their rhythmic engine: a collective of percussionists who perform while standing on metal drums, a factory-beat turned into a performance. Born near Nevers in the late 1980s, the project blends tribal pulsations, techno efficiency, and rock impact, with the band's impressive precision. On stage, it is the power of numbers, repetitive motifs, and collective momentum that transform the concert into a solid block of sound.
