Info
The Swabian painter-priest Sieger Köder created impressive visual works on the classical Stations of the Cross. For nine of these images, Hans-Jürgen Hufeisen composed musical impressions. The works will be presented in a concert at Martinikirche Buer on 23 March 2027 at 6:00 p.m. Hufeisen interprets them in brief reflections, and they find a space of resonance in the sounds of the flute. The music follows chorales that transform into musical impressions. The artworks and the music interact with one another, both harmonizing and contrasting. In his concerts, Hans-Jürgen Hufeisen performs artfully crafted, partly centuries-old flutes made from noble woods. These instruments fill the concert halls with their warm tones. With devotion, Hufeisen brings his flutes to life and draws from them touching melodies.
