Info
On October 18, 2026, Matt Sassari lands at Commonwealth in Calgary with a set built for the club: tight, no-nonsense, and driven by groove. Coming out of Marseille, he’s carved a lane between techno, tech house and house, where dry drum programming, punchy basslines and sharp vocal loops do most of the talking. Expect short, efficient tracks stitched together with the kind of timing that keeps the pressure on without needing big effects.
Over the years he’s refined that functional sound through releases on labels like CR2, Truesoul, Terminal M, Intec and Relief, and through collaborations and remixes in the orbit of artists such as Green Velvet, Adam Beyer and Dubfire. From the breakthrough push of “Fired Up” to later cuts like “Dance or Die” and “El Sueño,” his music sticks to one idea: make the room move, then keep it moving.
