Info
On 17 October 2026, Rolf Sanchez will perform at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht, with a show that precisely reveals where he has been moving for years: Dutch pop with a clear Latin and Caribbean undercurrent. Sanchez, born Roelof Johannes Wienk, pairs direct, sing-along melodies with rhythms drawn from salsa and urban tropical, and shifts effortlessly between Spanish and Dutch without feeling forced. Those who got to know him through X Factor saw early on that he wanted to forge his own path. After his early releases, the focus increasingly shifted toward a Hispanic repertoire, partly shaped by his time in the Dominican Republic and Miami. In the set you can hear that period reflected in the smoothly dancing grooves and the romantic charge of his Latin pop. Also expect the tracks that made him broadly popular in the Netherlands, such as “Pa olvidarte” (with Emma Heesters) and “Más más más”, alongside material from the album Mi viaje, in which that bilingual identity fully comes together.
