Info
On January 20, 2027, Ayra Starr brings her Starrgirl World Tour to the Live Music Hall in Cologne and, in concert, demonstrates how effortlessly she fuses Afropop with contemporary R&B, Afrobeats and Alté. From the early tracks she first shared online to the EP Ayra Starr and the breakout year with 19 & Dangerous, everything for her rests on catchy melodies, soft yet assured vocals, and songs that illuminate relationships, self-assertion, and this in-between stage from adolescence to adulthood.
On stage you can expect a mix of English, Nigerian Pidgin, and Yoruba, along with the energy of Rush—the track that opened up her audience far beyond Nigeria. At the same time, the past years show how flexible her sound is: collaborations and forays into international pop, Caribbean rhythms, or more nuanced R&B, without losing the Afropop base. With The Year I Turned 21 behind her, the set sounds more mature, more personal, and clearly tailored for large venues.
