On November 21, 2026, Sidestage in Winnipeg welcomes Nick Muir, the UK producer whose name is woven into the history of progressive house through Bedrock Records. For more than three decades, he’s been John Digweed’s studio partner and the other half of Bedrock, shaping a sound built on slow-burning momentum, dark textures, and that steady, hypnotic pull made for big systems.
This night is a chance to hear the mind behind landmark Bedrock cuts like “For What You Dream Of” (the track that traveled from the Renaissance mix series to Trainspotting), alongside staples such as “Heaven Scent,” “Emerald,” “Beautiful Strange,” and “Santiago.” Behind the decks, Muir carries that same craft into a proper long-form journey, threading deep house, progressive, melodic shades and driving techno without rushing the story.
Kicking things off, Winnipeg’s Jereme Oliver (Artilect Sound System) sets the tone with a deep progressive opening, warming up the room before Muir takes it into the Bedrock zone.
