On November 2, 2026, Editors drop by Rough Trade East in London for a stripped-back, in-store moment built around their new album Surface, Echo and Sound. Expect an acoustic set that puts the songs front and center, with space for Tom Smith’s baritone to do its thing and for the band’s writing to breathe away from the full electric punch.
For this special appearance, Editors perform as a three-piece: Tom Smith alongside Russell Leetch and Elliott Williams. It’s a chance to hear the group’s post-punk roots and later, more atmospheric turns in a tighter format, where the dark guitar lines, subtle synth colors and sharp melodies can land differently. The night also includes a signing, keeping it close, direct, and very much about the connection between the band and the people in the room.
