Info
The Undertones return to Barcelona to celebrate their 50th anniversary on March 19, 2027 at Paral·lel 62. Formed in Derry in 1975, they were among those bands that understood punk as a quick punch and, at the same time, very melodic: short songs, direct riffs and lyrics tied to adolescence, the everyday and romantic troubles. The repertoire includes anthems that have crossed generations such as “Teenage Kicks”, “Here Comes the Summer”, “My Perfect Cousin” or “Jimmy Jimmy”, alongside material from their later periods, now with a pulse that sits between punk rock, garage and power pop. A concert to reconnect with their no-nonsense sound and to see why they still deliver when it comes to playing fast, tight and catchy.
