Info
On May 11, 2027, The O2 in London hosts Rod Stewart for “The Final Encore”, a night built around a voice that’s been cutting through rock history since the mid-60s. Expect the full range of what made his career: that raspy, instantly recognizable delivery, a taste for rearranging other people’s songs, and a set that moves easily from gritty rhythm and blues roots to radio-ready rock and pop ballads. From the Faces years and early solo breakthroughs to later, more mainstream turns, Stewart’s shows tend to play with decades without feeling like a museum piece, mixing singalong choruses with looser, band-driven moments.
Also on the bill, Howard Jones brings a very different kind of intensity. Known for balancing clean lines with screams and growls, he’s been a key voice in modern metalcore, notably through his run with Killswitch Engage and later projects like Light the Torch and SION. A sharp contrast on paper, and a solid way to open the evening with something heavier and more volatile before Stewart takes over.
