Info
Jack Kays brings his genre-hopping world to Rescue Rooms in Nottingham on April 5, 2027. Raised in the SoundCloud era before leaning harder into guitars, he sits right at the crossroads of indie rock, hip-hop, pop-punk and emo, switching naturally between melodic hooks, rap-like delivery and nervous, tight riffs. His songs tend to go straight to the point, with choruses built for shouting along, while keeping a confessional edge that often touches on mental health, isolation, and addictive spirals.
On stage, the project takes on a full-band shape, built for impact rather than polish, with the kind of energy that connects his early cuts to later releases like Mixed Emotions, the Voice Memos EPs, Cessation and Caffeine, up to the more recent Deadbeat! chapters. Expect a set that moves fast, hits hard, and keeps that push-pull between vulnerability and punchy alt production.
