Info
On November 24, 2026, Adekunle Gold lands at Blue Note London for a show that captures his “Afro Urban” sweet spot: a mix of highlife spirit, afropop shine, and Yoruba melodies that always sit right on the hook. First spotted widely with “Sade” in 2014, he’s since built a catalogue that moves from the guitar-led ballads and pop of Gold to the more personal tone of About 30, then into a club-ready, electronic-leaning afrobeats hybrid on Afro Pop, Vol. 1, Catch Me If You Can and Tequila Ever After.
Live, expect that balance between smooth vocals and rhythm-driven tracks, with a sound that can slide into contemporary R&B and Caribbean touches without losing its Lagos core. Whether you know him from the earlier highlife-infused cuts or the newer, bolder afropop, this London date is a chance to hear how his songwriting and melodies evolve on stage, with the kind of flow that makes both the intimate moments and the dance-ready parts hit naturally.
