Info
On March 5, 2027, La Roux brings the 'Old Flames Tour 2027' to Berlin's Neue Welt. The project is led by Elly Jackson, who since the mid-2000s has been crafting her own mix of synthpop, new wave, and clear 80s references: angular synth lines, driving beats, and that high, slightly androgynous-sounding voice that sticks with you.
Live, you can expect a set here that well captures La Roux's development: from the early, forward-moving electro-pop of the debut 'La Roux' (2009) to the warmer, groovier textures of 'Trouble in Paradise' (2014) and 'Supervision' (2020). Add to that the club-oriented side that has further opened up through remixes, collaborations, and later singles. An evening for anyone who loves pop that is danceable and electronic, without sounding overly polished.
