Info
On February 1, 2027, La Roux brings “The Old Flames Tour” to Danforth Music Hall in Toronto, with Elly Jackson steering her London-bred synth-pop project back onto a live stage built for big hooks and tight electronic punch.
Expect a set that moves through La Roux’s sharp, 80s-leaning DNA: bright synth lines, clipped new wave rhythms, and that instantly recognizable high, androgynous vocal that cuts clean through the beats. The show is also a chance to hear how the project has evolved from the early rush of the 2009 self-titled debut into the warmer, groove-driven side explored on Trouble in Paradise and Supervision, where pop songwriting meets club-ready momentum.
With a history of remix culture and collaborations that keep one foot in the indie-electronic world, La Roux’s live format usually leans direct and physical: melodies upfront, basslines doing the heavy lifting, and a constant push toward the dancefloor without losing the pop heart.
